Hilltop City Bluegrass Festival

Today was the second annual Hilltop City Bluegrass Festival in Somersworth, an event hosted by the Greater Somersworth Chamber of Commerce with proceeds benefiting the public schools. In lieu of the Rochester Fair, I opted to bring the kids (free for them!), stake out a section of lawn at the Somersworth High School Pavillion, and listen to the Appalachian twangs of banjo, bass, fiddle, and mandolin mountain music on a beautiful September day.
