The Show: It’s Christmas Eve as reclusive rock star Mick Mondo (BRO co-founder Mick Maldonado) sits alone by the fire, convinced that he’s been forgotten. Solstina the Solstice Goddess (Linda Viens) appears to remind him of the many reasons for the holiday season. While her intentions are good, the guests who perform classic Christmas songs remind him, and us, of the cultural shifts and uncertain times we live in. It takes a special performance by Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem, and a return to the stage with Mondo’s band Streaker, to bring a bit of joy to the old rocker’s heart. Or does it? Find out in this original send-up of Made-for-TV Holiday Specials.

Once again, Boston Rock Opera has assembled some of the music scene’s best vocalists and musicians including Music Directors Peter Moore, Joshua Pickering, and Mick Maldonado, and vocalists John Powhida, Ali McGuirk, Ad Frank, Valerie Forgione, John Surette, Johnny Blazes, Gene Dante, Goddamn Glenn, Erica Mantone, Rod van Stoli, C. Moon Mullins and many more! After the show, DJ Jed Gottlieb will keep you dancing and enjoying the holiday spirits until last call.

In addition to raising funds for Hurricane relief via the One America Appeal for Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands, we ask that people bring a small gift for the children of Puerto Rico.
